The Founding of Lavender Books LLC

Trained in mathematics at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, Felix has long had a passion for numbers and how they work together, but they had yet to discover how to implement that enthusiasm in the real world. Throughout their career, they sought the field that resonated best.

While working in insurance supplementing, their employer approached them and asked if they would take over the bookkeeping role that had just opened up in the company. It was love at first data entry.

After a time, Felix’s health took a turn and they resigned to take time to recover. Once they were ready to reenter the workforce, they devoted their energy to the pursuit of bookkeeping. Thus, Lavender Books was born.

Creating Lavender Books has been an unexpected blessing. Working for one company limited their impact but now they’re able to help more companies thrive — including yours!
